Uniball 207 Signo
The Uniball 207 Signo Retractable Gel Pen is truly one of my personal favorites! Once again, I have to give a hand to the people of Uniball and Newell Rubbermaid! It is not only one of the smoothest and reliable pens I own, it uses the Uni Super Ink! You know about that right? The ink that Uniball made that is a pigment ink (not a dye ink like most pens). It actually imbeds itself into the fibers in the heart of the paper! It can not be washed away by cleaners such as other ink can, and deters check fraud! You can learn more about that from Uniball.
This pen is a great looking and performing pen! I will start with the nice design. The very comfortable grip and weight were a surprise to me. This pen writes extremely smoothly. It is really a challenge to describe how smoothly it actually writes. I used a blue to test out this time, and the color pops out better than most other blue gel pens (or most blue pens in general) that I have written with. With bleed through however, it does bleed slightly. Not enough to tarnish the next page, but enough that on your basic 14, 18 and 20 pound paper... you can see it through the other side. It actually appears wors to me on canary paper than white paper... (small sacrifice to pay when drafting a check though... knowing you have the Uniball Super Ink!) They are refillable which is a plus for me personally. I really can do nothing but talk good about this pen. I have not found something that I do not like about it just yet..... I will definitely keep at least one of these at my desk, in the car, and at my work from now on.
